I don’t want to buy the MHub. Can it not work without it?
MHub is necessary as it is the central gateway that connects all the MTronic devices and securely communicates with the internet through AWS, Amazon’s cloud. You only need one MHub, whether you’re automating a single room or your entire house.

Do I require any additional items to setup the MHub?
Yes, you require a Type-C power cable to power the MHub.
