| Safety Instructions: – Ensure there are appropriate fuse/circuit breakers installed for the space and turn them off before installation. Turn them on only after the installation is done. – Tighten or loosen the screws when no Live wire is connected. – Place the controller inside the motor’s casing after installation. – Do not allow children to play with the device or its packaging, as its plastic film and small components may pose a choking hazard to them. |
To power the Smart Gate, follow the steps below:
1. Disconnect the power supply of the gate motor by first disconnecting the AC supply and then the battery supply.
2. Follow the instructions in your gate motor’s manual to remove the plastic casing and access the controller board.
3. Make the wiring connections as shown in the wiring diagram below:
4. Using the slotted screwdriver, tighten all the connections.
5. Carefully adjust the controller along with the cluster of existing wire connections inside the motor’s casing.
6. Turn on the AC supply for the motor and set the motor’s Modes of Operation to Standard Mode in the gate control unit, if the settings are not set to default.
7. The controller is ready for pairing with MTronic MHub as soon as it’s powered.
8. Follow the steps in the next section to connect the Siren Controller with the application.
9. After connecting the Smart Gate with the application, close the plastic casing of the gate motor.
