Step 02: Power the HVAC Controller

Safety Instructions:

– Ensure there are appropriate fuse/circuit breakers installed for the space and turn them off before installation. Turn them on only after the installation is done.

– Tighten or loosen the screws when no Live wire is connected.

– Since the installation requires working with high voltages, it MUST be installed and uninstalled by an expert electrician.

– Label the wires when removing the existing thermostat (if any) to make the connections easier.

– Operate the device only within indoor environments to keep it sheltered from all weather conditions.

– Do not allow children to play with the device or its packaging, as its plastic film and small components may pose a choking hazard to them.

To power the HVAC Controller, follow the steps below:

1. Switch off the AC supply from the fuse/circuit breaker

2. IF there is an existing thermostat at your place, take a picture of the connections for reference. This will help identify the wires and load types.

3. Match the existing connection setup with the terminal descriptions to identify the type of HVAC system.

4. Disconnect the wires one by one and label them according to the terminals they were connected to.

5. Connect the Live Wire in the L terminal and the Neutral wire in the N terminal.

6. Based on the identified HVAC system type in Step 2, make the wiring connections to the HVAC Controller.

7. Ensure all the connections are properly configured, as incorrect wiring may prevent the thermostat from connecting to the app.
