Step 04: Connect your Smart Thermostat with the Application

To connect your Smart Thermostat with the application, follow the steps below:

1. Log in to the application by entering the registered Email and Password.

2. Tap on the + icon in the top-right corner of the home screen.

3. If the MHub isn’t already connected, a pop-up displays to connect the MHub.

4. From the Add new popup, select Device.

5. From the Select Device list, tap on the Smart Thermostat to expand the section.

6. Connect the Temperature Sensor with the Application

1. Select Temperature Sensor from the expanded Smart Thermostat section.

2. If the Temperature Sensor is not available for connection, insert the pin in the sensor’s hole to press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to make it available.

3. Tap on the Pair button to pair the Temperature Sensor.

The application undergoes a few steps to complete the pairing.

4. Once the Temperature Sensor is successfully paired, tap on the Next button.

5. Enter a name (maximum 26 characters) for the Temperature Sensor and tap on the Save button.

6. Select a Room from the list to assign the sensor to.

7. Once the application prompts you to link it with the HVAC Touch Panel, tap on Later.

8. Wait for a few seconds to make the Temperature Sensor accessible through the application.

7. Connect the HVAC Controller with the Application

1. Select HVAC Controller from the expanded Smart Thermostat section.

2. Tap on the Pair button to pair the HVAC Controller.

The application undergoes a few steps to complete the pairing.

3. Once the HVAC Controller is successfully paired, tap on the Next button.

4. Enter a name (maximum 26 characters) for the HVAC Controller and tap on the Save button.

6. Select a Room from the list to assign the controller to.

7. Once the application prompts you to link it with the HVAC Touch Panel, tap on Later.

8. Wait for a few seconds to make the HVAC Controller accessible through the application.

8. Connect the HVAC Touch Panel with the Application

1. Select HVAC Touch Panel from the expanded Smart Thermostat section.

2. If the HVAC Touch Panel is not available for connection, navigate to the Settings screen on the device and tap on the Broadcast Device option.

3. Tap on the Pair button to pair the HVAC Touch Panel.

The application undergoes a few steps to complete the pairing.

4. Once the HVAC Touch Panel is successfully paired, tap on the Next button.

9. Selecting Equipment Type

The application prompts you to select the equipment type. Make the selection based on your HVAC equipment (Study your existing HVAC’s terminals to identify the system type):

Conventional

          Select Heating Equipment (Furnace or Boiler)

          Select Heating Stage (1-Stage or 2-Stage)

          Select Cooling Equipment (Air Conditioner)

          Select Cooling Stage (1-Stage or 2-Stage)

Heat Pump

          Select O/B Reversing Valve Setting (On Heat or On Cool)

          Select Stage (1-Stage or 2-Stage)

Heat Pump with Auxiliary Heat

          Select O/B Reversing Valve Setting (On Heat or On Cool)

          Select Heat Pump Stage (1-Stage or 2-Stage)

          Select Aux Heating Equipment (Furnace or Boiler)

          Select Aux Heating Stage (1-Stage or 2-Stage)

Fan Coil Unit

          Select Stage (2-Pipe or 2-Pipe with Aux or 4-Pipe)

          Select Fan Speed (Single-Speed or Multi-Speed)

10. Linking Devices

1. Enter a name (maximum 26 characters) for the HVAC Touch Panel and tap on the Save button.

2. Select a Room from the list to assign the panel to.

3. Once the application prompts you to link it with the HVAC Controller and Temperature Sensor, tap on Link Now.

4. Tap on HVAC Controller from the Link Devices screen.

5. Select the HVAC Controller from the list that you provisioned in Step 7 and tap on the Save button.

6. Tap on Temperature Sensor from the Link Devices screen.

7. Select the Temperature Sensor from the list that you provisioned in Step 6 and tap on the Save button.

This links all three devices together.

8. Tap on the Save button to complete the process.

9. Wait for a few seconds to make the HVAC Touch Panel accessible through the application
